Monitoring and EvaluationThis is a featured page

The project management team will implement an internal monitoring process throughout the project. On a three-month-basis, the efforts and outcomes of the project will be evaluated against the work programme cited under IV.b in this project proposal as well as the expected outcomes of the project. In the case of a significant deviance from the proposed output, the project coordinator will arrange a conference call with all project partners concerned in order to re-assess the project activities and their time-frame.

Upon approval of the project proposal, the project team in collaboration with the Board Members of the HREYN will identify an external evaluator, member of the HREYN. The external evaluation will be based on the intended results and work plan of the project. The evaluator will attend the 2nd SDDP and international conference and will hold an evaluation meeting with the project coordinator and all local coordinators, and will draft a final report of the project.

Evaluation during the project will encompass five stages:
  1. Evaluation of the preparation phase (establishing the online-platform, kick-off meeting and first SDDP co-laboratory) by the core group of the 11 national co-coordinators and the general coordinator
  2. Interim evaluation report after the first 6 months, critically considering the achievement of general aims of the project and the timely fulfillment of the work programme
  3. Evaluation of the regional SDDP co-laboratories
  4. Evaluation of the project achievements in the context of the conference
  5. Final evaluation report to the European Commission (both internal and external)
